In this article I will tell you how to improve the performance of your Android smartphone or tablet without using third-party applications.
- Remove unused and old applications.
Go to Settings – All Applications. Click on the application you want to remove, click on the “Remove” button. Before uninstalling, clear the application cache – the “Clear cache” button.
- Delete unnecessary files.
Unnecessary files can be found through Explorer (a standard application in the form of a folder). Select files manually and delete them. Also delete everything from the Downloads folder.

- Transfer files from your phone to a memory card or computer. Use a connection to a PC via cable or wi-fi. Additionally, customize the installation of applications, shooting photos and videos, recording a voice recorder to an SD card.
- Factory reset. Go to Settings – About phone – Backup and reset – Delete all data (reset to factory settings). Attention! All user data will be deleted.
- Disable energy saving. The power saving feature in your phone reduces the frequency of the processor. To set maximum performance, go to Settings – Power & Performance – Disable Energy Saving.
- To improve performance, you can install the CCleaner application, which you can use to manage installed applications and intelligently clean up internal storage.
