How to deal with ads on Android

Android battery The operating system Android has become very popular primarily due to the tens of thousands of applications it supports. They can be both paid and free. Free applications differ from paid ones primarily by the presence of a large number of ads. We will consider in more detail how to deal with it in this article.

Why is it important to disable ads

There are several reasons why it is very important to disable ads on Android:

  • There is a high risk of infection by malware (viruses).
  • Advertising consumes battery power. If a tablet or phone on Android with moderate use from one charge lasts on average from 1 day to 3, then with a large number of active advertising, this period is halved.
  • Launched ads consume a huge amount of internet traffic. This is due to the peculiarity of the work of Android. Even if you try to close the window with advertising material, it will simply collapse into 'workflows', becoming invisible and continuing to consume megabytes of traffic and battery power.

The second way is to use special 'blockers' of unwanted content. Today, the Google Play store offers over 400 such programs, most of them are free. They differ among themselves in functionality and usability. However, the effectiveness of such applications from Google Play is highly questionable. You can download some of these programs here.

Ad Away is capable of blocking almost any objectionable material from any source. More recently, a new version was introduced that even works with the new Android 4.4.

The second program is called Lucky Patcher. It is also not available on Google Play and you also need Root rights to install it. After installation, it will scan the system and show applications where to block something.
