It seems almost impossible to find someone who doesn't know (or at least once haven't heard) DJ Tiesto. It can be safely said that he was the most popular DJ of the 2000s – this is reinforced by the DJ Mag Top 100 rating, which put him in first place in 2002, 2003 and 2004. And even after a few years, Tiesto again became the best DJ in the world, and 3 times in a row! Until now, he is among the top ten, and this is despite the fact that many talented DJs and composers have appeared on the music arena in 10 years. And now, unexpectedly for everyone, Tiesto takes and releases a new album.
Who hasn't heard this DJ at least once?
Tiesto released his debut solo album In My Memory in 2001, and almost every track from it became a real hit. No wonder he soon embarked on a US tour with Moby, David Bowie and Basta Rhimes. I remember how everyone came off to 'We Are All Made of Stars', it was an amazing time. And in 2003, Tiesto became the first DJ to give a concert at the stadium (later it became a habit for him, and he often performed at the stadiums), having gathered 25,000 people.
This is a truly unique DJ who has released hit after hit. That only is the track 'Traffic', which stormed the first places in the world charts for several months. He was used in advertising, and someone even made their own remixes, but no one managed to surpass the eminent DJ.
Tiesto was the first in the world to perform as a DJ at the opening of the Olympic Games (2004 in Athens). In 2005, a wax sculpture was made in Madame Tussauds Amsterdam, in which Tiesto stands at the consoles, and the DJ himself was awarded the title of Knight of the Order of the Orange – received from the hands of the royal family of the Netherlands. In general, he has enough regalia, he really can be called the most famous DJ of the beginning of the XXI century.

It would seem that you can finish making music and retire, but Tiesto loves his job so much that in 2011 he released his fifth studio album, which he called 'Kiss From The Past'. Although everyone expected the record to be recorded in the house genre, this time Tiesto released it in the previous genre of trance. Again in the first places of all charts.
Album Tiesto – The London Sessions
Having recorded several more records over the years, on May 15, Tiesto released a new studio album, The London Sessions, which consists of 13 tracks. Together they will give almost 45 minutes of quality music from a renowned DJ, some of which you may already have heard on the radio or streaming services. For example, the track 'Jackie Chan' was released in the summer of 2018, but was included on the new disc.
On the new album, Tiesto has many collaborations with other famous artists, including Snoop Dogg, Post Malone and Violet Skies. Someone may say that with the new disc the DJ has gone too far into the pop direction, but there are also trance and house that are loved by many in the tracks, for which Tiesto got to the top of Olympus in his time. Moreover, pop music is now in trend and has a large number of fans.
