It is believed that the OS Android has an open architecture, but only developers can talk about it. The user cannot become an administrator, as in Windows, and access to root folders and system capabilities is closed for him (and this does not depend on the model or manufacturer). Fly's advantage is that the manufacturer equips its devices with the latest OS versions and regularly updates firmware. Despite this, sometimes you need to set root rights to Android on Fly.
Root-rights: what is it and why
As noted, root is administrator rights. It's just that in the case of Android they called them differently.
Root is translated from English as 'root', and root-rights mean access to the root system capabilities of the device.
The user actually gets a developer account, is equated to it in rights and becomes a superuser.
The procedure for obtaining consists in performing a number of certain manipulations with the device, after which it becomes possible to perform previously unavailable operations with its system.

Getting root on Fly using a PC
The most common way to gain root access on a Fly model is through software tools. They work efficiently, quickly and do not cause difficulties for users. In this matter, the Fly brand is no different from others, the OS is about the same everywhere.

What you need to root
As you know, rooting involves the use of special applications installed on Android or a personal computer / laptop, USB connection. Thus, to obtain root rights to Android on Fly, you will need:
- The rooted gadget itself. The device must be at least half charged (and preferably 70-100%).
- Computer with OS Windows connected to the Internet.
- A working USB cable.
Of course, you need the Kingo Root program, time and an unyielding desire to improve your Fly.

With Kingo Root
First, prepare Android – device:
- Installation of applications from unknown sources is allowed. This is done in the settings in the 'Security' section (you must check the corresponding item).
- USB debugging mode is activated. This function is enabled in the 'Developer options', and is launched when connected to a PC.
It is also recommended to back up important data. Further work is performed on the computer:
- The Kingo Root program is downloaded and launched from the official site.
- Fly connects to your computer.
- The application will try to find or install drivers for the device on the PC. In extreme cases, they will have to be downloaded from the official website of the device manufacturer.
- After establishing the connection between the program and the gadget, the 'Root' button will appear, which should be pressed.
While the utility is looking for a solution to the problem, it is not recommended to use or disconnect the device from the PC. When rooting is over, Fly will reboot and will be considered a device with superuser rights.

Via Kingroot
When there is no desire or opportunity to solve a problem using a PC, you can do everything on the gadget itself through the Kingroot program. Of course, if your Fly has an OS not higher than Android 5.1.
The cord is not required, but important data must be saved and the device must be charged before operation. You can download the application on the developer's website.
The procedure itself is simple, but the program interface is in Chinese. Despite this, you need to select the correct button. Fortunately, it is difficult to confuse it with any other – it is the largest. So, you need to take the following steps:
- After downloading, open the utility.
- Press the 'Root' button and wait for the procedure to complete.
After the utility is 'mastered', the interface will change to Russian.
Now the owner of the gadget can be congratulated – he became a superuser.

What to do if Kingo Android Root does not 'see' the gadget
Kingo Root is a very handy tool that allows you to root your Fly device without any fuss. After starting and connecting the gadget (with USB debugging), the utility downloads and installs the drivers, and the user only has to make a couple of clicks.
However, compatibility problems with such software are quite common. Different rooting methods and programs are suitable for different models and versions of OS. Even more often, difficulties arise when the program determines the device. She does not 'see' it at all (cannot determine) or hangs during the download. Such problems are usually easy to solve.

Enable USB Debugging
First of all, you need to check if USB debugging has been enabled. If not, you need to enable. This can be done in the Settings section of the Developer Options. Android 6.0 Marshmallow does not have this section. But enabling the function is even easier. To do this, you should:
- Open the menu and go to the settings.
- At the bottom of the list, select the section 'About phone'.
- In the list that opens, find the item 'Assembly number' and click on the inscription seven times.
- Enable 'USB Debugging' in the developer dialog that appears.

USB Debugging
Debug mode is required by developers. They use it to test applications. Sometimes the function is useful for ordinary users as well. For example, the mode allows you to connect to a PC, which is necessary to obtain root rights or synchronize devices.
The function may not work if the wire, pins (connectors) of the PC or Android are damaged. In this case, you can try changing the connector, wire, or even your computer. If there are no such problems, and the gadget is still not detected, the point is in the drivers.

Installing drivers
Usually, drivers for Android are installed on a PC if you plan to share devices. In order for Windows to recognize Android, it needs these 'movers'.
It is recommended to use only original files downloaded from the official Fly website. For example, if you need root-rights to Android on Fly 4503, you will also need a certain driver suitable only for this platform.
Drivers can be different for each build number or model, and based on bitness and system number Windows. Advanced users use the Android Studio driver packages available for download from developer.android.com.

Removing root from Android
Superuser privileges do not always answer these questions. Often, an incorrect root causes glitches or a complete inoperability of the device. Such a device will not be accepted for warranty repair, and this is a good reason to abandon root.
Access is removed in the following ways:
- Manually by file managers.
- The software used to get root, or using the SuperSU program.
As with any Android, problems with the use or functionality of Fly after getting root are solved by a full reset to factory settings. Original firmware or normal OS upgrade can be used. Both options result in root removal.
