This statement was made by the director of the mobile OS security department Android Adrian Ludwig. He believes the Pixel and Pixel XL have a very high level of protection and are not inferior to any existing mobile device.
Adrian Ludwig also said that rumors about security problems Android – many devices have not been confirmed. The only problem that is currently relevant is the slow updating of systems on models from different manufacturers. It exists due to the low efficiency of the enterprises themselves. After all, it is more profitable for them to sell more new smartphones than to spend time and resources on improving those already sold.
