In smartphones Xiaomi, the standard pre-installed Music application is associated with your Mi account. Moreover, all songs are synchronized and automatically saved to the cloud storage (if you have configured this option).
The application provides sorting of music: recent, favorites and playlists (create your own playlists, for example, “rock”, “classic”, “electronic”, “dance”, “slow”, etc. for quick navigation if you have a lot of musical compositions).
There should be no problems with playing songs, even a beginner will figure it out. But let's look at the basic settings of the application.
Settings
To go to the settings, in the search bar on the left, select the icon and the menu item “Settings”> Advanced settings.
The following functions are available here:
- Sleep timer – stop the audio player after a specified time.
- Headphones and sound effects. Read this article.
- Audio file filter:
- by size, for example, hide files less than 0.5 MB;
- by duration, for example, hide short songs shorter than 30 seconds;
- by folders – select only certain folders with music, the rest will be hidden.
- Receive recommendations – disable / show ads in the app.
Alternatively, you can use the Play Music app to manage your own music and listen to music online.
