Sound volume is, of course, one of the most important features when using a wireless headset. In our article, we will talk about how you can control the volume in Bluetooth – a headset on Android – devices both by software and hardware.
Sound power control
When using a wireless headphone, the user first of all needs to hear the sound even in such a relatively noisy place as a bus stop or even a subway station. But when you connect a brand new headphone, it happens that the sound is not as strong as we would like. In this case, you should not be disappointed ahead of time, you just need to try increasing the volume Bluetooth – of the headset to Android, which we will discuss in more detail later.

Hardware method
Almost all headset models have sound volume control keys, which are located right on the headphone case. To amplify the sound during a call, try pressing the '+' button several times to make it louder. When you reach the maximum possible volume, you will hear a short sound in the earphone – this will mean that there is nowhere to increase it.
If, nevertheless, the sound is not heard well enough for your ear, then it is worth using the software method. The fact is that the settings on the earpiece and on the smartphone are not combined, so they need to be adjusted separately.

Program method
After the power is set to maximum on the earphone, you need to do the same on the smartphone: that is, with an active conversation, press the rocker on the phone case. After the performed operations, you can be sure that the sound is set to maximum.
But in the most difficult situations, it happens that the speaker Bluetooth – of the headset has too low volume. In this case, you can use a special program on Android. It's called SpeakerBoost, and its job is to boost the sound above the maximum value that you can set in a standard way. The program can be applied both for Bluetooth and for ordinary headphones, as well as just for the speaker.
SpeakerBoost can be downloaded from Google Play. We would like to note that this application must be used wisely, and not set the magnification to 100% at once – this can damage the speaker or completely disable it, which the developers themselves warn about.
Instructions:
- After downloading and installing the application, launch it.
- Agree with the warning and risks that we wrote about above.
- Then agree with the information you have read about donating the application.
- And click 'OK' again after reviewing the changes in your version compared to older ones.
- After that, a small window with a slider will be available, which can be set from 0 to 100%. Move it to the desired level for the most comfortable gain.
- As practice shows, even on very 'quiet' headphones, 50% preamplification was enough to make the audibility comfortable even for the metro.
- After setting the desired sound strength, simply tap on an empty spot on the screen to minimize the application.
- To resume its work, you need to lower the curtain and tap on its name.
