The Speed Dial feature is considered outdated, and today few people use it, but in vain.
The function allows you to quickly dial the desired number with just one press. Speed dial can be set for children and elderly relatives. Let's figure out how to do this.
Open the “Phone” application (green tube). We go to the settings – usually these are 3 horizontal lines or 3 vertical dots at the bottom or top of the screen. I have on Xiaomi a menu call from the bottom (on Samsung – top right ellipsis).
In the menu that opens, look for the item “Speed dial”. On Xiaomi it is in “advanced settings”.
By default, there are 8 numbers available that can be assigned to speed dialing. To add a number, click on the plus and select the desired contact from the list.
To remove a number from speed dial, long press on it will open a pop-up menu, press “delete”.
And then to call, hold down the button with the assigned number for dialing.
