Some programs and games on your phone can consume a lot of mobile Internet traffic. How can you monitor this? How to limit the use of mobile Internet by an application? How to allow applications to use only the Internet via wi-fi?
You can view all statistics of Internet usage by installed programs and games for the last month here: Settings> Data transfer.
Select the type of traffic: 3G / 4G or Wi-Fi. And configure the time range, for example, for the last month I have such mobile traffic:
As you can see in the screenshot above, the main applications that consume mobile traffic are Vkontakte and system applications. You can also see the wi-fi traffic consumption per month:
How to limit the use of mobile Internet for the program? Select the desired application and configure the type of network connection for it. For example, VKontakte uses all types of Internet: mobile and wi-fi + is always on in the background so as not to miss messages or notifications from friends.
Just slide the switch to the Off position to restrict mobile internet usage for this app.
If the monthly Internet package on your tariff is not consumed until the end of the month, I advise you not to disconnect applications from the mobile Internet – it is much more convenient with it.
