Let's look at the process using the example of the DiskDigger utility. After installation, launch the program. Now you need to select the directory that will be scanned to find deleted data. Here you need to select a section called 'Data' and which takes up the most memory.
Then click the 'Scan device' button. Now a window will open in which you can specify the type of file you want to find.
All types can be selected, but in order to minimize the scan time, it is recommended to specify the type that you want to return. Click the 'OK' button.
