Installing and configuring Google Pay

1. Download the application from the Play Store and install it.
2. Add a payment card on first launch. After connecting to the bank and checking the card for activity, it will be added to the application.
3. You will be prompted to turn on the screen lock if it is not available. This is necessary when paying for large purchases. When you touch the phone to the payment terminal, you may need to unlock the smartphone – this is a protection so that unknown persons cannot write off a large amount from the card without your knowledge.
4. Confirm card details. An SMS with a confirmation code will be sent to the specified phone. This is necessary for protection so that an attacker, even knowing your card details, could not pay with it via Google Pay – he does not have confirmation by phone number.
5. Add discount cards if you have them: Magnet, Sportmaster, O'STIN, Pyaterochka, Lenta, M.Video, DNS, Eldorado and many others.
6. You can pay with Google Pay in applications and online stores: Uber, Yandex taxi, Pandao, Lamoda, Airbnb, etc. It will be faster, and payment with one touch.

You can add multiple payment cards. To do this, go to the “Payment” section and click “+ Payment method” to add another card. In this case, the card is by default – money will be debited from it.
