Multi-window mode

Multiple windows on the screen Multi-window mode allows you to display multiple running applications at the same time on one screen. If earlier this required installing third-party software, now this feature is built into Samsung smartphones (Android version 6.0 and higher).

You can start the mode through Settings – Additional. Features – Multi-window mode.

Press and hold the Recents key to switch the application from full screen to split screen mode. As a result, the screen will be divided horizontally into 2 equal parts. You can run 2 programs at the same time.

Next, if you want to exit this mode, press and hold the Recents key to close the application at the bottom of the split screen.

The function is undoubtedly useful, but I recommend using it only on powerful smartphones, otherwise the phone will “slow down”. I'm not even talking about running two “heavy” games or applications. For comfortable work, a smartphone must have at least 2 GB of RAM.
