Google always knows where you are, where you were yesterday, last week, etc., which places you visit. There is nothing wrong with that, because for the operation of some services, the transfer of geodata must be enabled on the phone, for example, Google Maps and the like.
But if it bothers you, you can turn off everything, completely hiding your movement around the area (it will not work 100%, because you can track the phone by IMEI through cellular operators). How to do it?
Go to Settings> Google> Location (geodata).
First, you can turn off geodata transfer. In this case, Google will not be able to determine your location.
Detection methods
The detection methods used are different. We choose the right one, based on our situation:
- High accuracy. GPS, Wi-Fi and cellular communication are used to determine your location. But the battery power is quickly depleted.
- Medium Accuracy – Conserves battery power. Only wi-fi and mobile network are used.
- Phone only – GPS is used.

Improving accuracy
To improve the accuracy of the service, you can manually activate Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. Those. applications will constantly search for available wifi networks nearby and “cling” to them. It's the same with bluetooth. Services on the phone will scan the network for available bluetooth devices near you (10-30 meters) and connect to them.
Both of these methods improve geo-positioning, consume battery power, and significantly. Therefore, I recommend not enabling these services.

Recent location requests
Keeps Google statistics on which services and when requested your location. You can configure notifications, permissions for such applications. Or turn them off manually.
You can view the history of your locations through your Google account or Google Maps. Select “Location History”.
Additionally, you can turn on “Transfer of geodata” so that your contacts can see where you are now. A useful feature for parents – they always know where their child is now. You can track your location using Google+ or Hangouts. Additionally, you can view the history of movements, which places the person went to, what transport they used.
