Additionally, there is an option “Save traffic”. When this mode is activated, background data transfer will be disabled for some applications. The application you use frequently can receive and send data (whatsApp, Instagram, for example), but less frequently than usual. For example, Instagram photos will not upload until you click on them. This mode significantly saves the mobile traffic package.

You can turn off mobile Internet or view statistics on the use of mobile traffic here for the last month.

At the same time, indicate the billing cycle (usually the 1st day of each month) so as not to get confused with the traffic count. In the settings, specify the start of the cycle, the warning threshold and the traffic limit. After reaching the set limit, data transmission over the mobile network will be disabled.

Watch out for especially “gluttonous” and do not forget to turn them off when you leave for another region and get into roaming – this way you will save a lot of money and nerves.

How can I monitor the traffic of a specific application? Just click on the selected application. Statistics on data usage in active and background modes are available. You can turn off the background mode to save traffic. Or if the application is particularly important (for example, an online translator or maps), activate unlimited data transfer for it. In this case, no other traffic restrictions will apply to this selected application.
