The Digma smartphone can be used as a Wi-Fi hotspot, i.e. distribute the wireless network to other devices nearby to access the Internet. At the same time, you need to remember about paid packages of mobile traffic, and that this option quickly drains the battery.

Or use your smartphone as a USB modem to access the Internet from a laptop or PC. This option is useful when there is no home wired Internet.

We need a cable to connect the phone to the computer. In the phone, go to Settings – Network and Internet – Access Point and Modem.

Here we activate the USB modem options (open access to the phone's Internet connection via USB). Those. we give Internet access to our PC, laptop.

Additionally, you can use the phone as a bluetooth modem (open access to the phone's Internet connection via bluetooth) if there is no cable at hand.

Wi-Fi hotspot

Go to Settings – Network and Internet – Access Point and Modem – Wi-Fi Access Point.

Turn on the access point. Let's consider the available settings.

1. Basic settings:
   • keep the wi-fi access point always or turn it off when idle for 5-10 minutes;
   • setting up a Wi-Fi hotspot. Here you enter the name of your network, which you distribute to others, and the password for access. Additionally, you can configure the frequency range (2.4 or 5 GHz) and the maximum number of connections (up to 10 users);
   • WPS connection. Those. another device will be able to connect without entering a password: by pressing the WPS button or a pin code. For most, this setting is unnecessary.
2. Connected Users – shows how many devices are connected to you online.
3. Blocked Users – how many users have you blocked.
