Some brands of smartphones have a function to alert you to emergencies in your area through a cellular operator. In Russia, such a thing also works, but not everywhere, often only in large settlements.
Do not disable emergency messages. It can save the lives of you and your loved ones. For Russia and the CIS countries it is not so important, since we have practically no natural disasters.
