Airplane mode on your Samsung phone

Flight mode The Airplane / Flight function on your phone disables calling, messaging, and mobile data transmission / reception. In other words, you will not be able to call anyone, go online or send a message; no one will get through to you either. Additionally, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth will be disabled. Then you can turn them on again, while the airplane mode will remain active.

How to turn on?

There are 2 ways: fast and long.

Method number 1: using the quick access menu.

Swipe down from the top of the screen, a menu will appear with quick access to popular functions. Select the airplane icon – “Airplane mode”.

Method number 2: through the settings in the phone.

In the Samsung phone, go to Settings – Connections – Airplane mode. Use the switch.

Please note that the network icon will disappear at the top of the phone screen, and an airplane icon will appear instead. This means that airplane mode is on.

Method number 3: through the shutdown button.

This method does not work on all Samsung devices. Press and hold the on / off button of the smartphone for a few seconds. The Shutdown, Restart, Airplane mode menu appears. As you can see in the picture below, my Samsung A5 doesn't have this option.

Airplane mode also saves you battery power, so you can turn it on occasionally when you're not waiting for important calls.
