Most modern smartphones support 2 SIM cards. In this article, we will consider how to manage each SIM card in the phone, which one to make calls with by default, and which one to go online.
All settings for the operation of SIM cards in Digma devices are located in Settings – Network and Internet – SIM cards.
Firstly, you can always turn off one SIM card at a time (for example, to save battery power, or so that no one bothers). To do this, slide the switch to the Off position.
Secondly, you need to establish from which SIM card to use the Internet, and from which to call and send sms (you can assign one in both cases). If this is a problem for you, you can set the “Always ask” option when making calls and sending a message.
In the screenshot above, one SIM card is inserted into the phone, so mobile Internet, calls and SMS are automatically sent from it. When you insert the second SIM card, the choice of the SIM card for data transmission and gsm communication will be available.
The simultaneous operation of two SIM cards will drain the battery in the phone much faster than one active SIM card. Therefore, if you are not using a second SIM card, disconnect it for a while.
