After downloading the program, you can set a password for this application, ask a secret question and activate the 'masking' option – the program can pretend to be a regular calculator, and only you will know how to access the storage. You should also register your email account in case you forget this password.
By clicking on the '+' icon in the lower right corner, you can add photos, videos from your gallery or any other file that you would like to hide from prying eyes. After moving to LOCKED, the same added photos will no longer be available in the gallery.
For all files, you can choose between full and simplified encryption, after which they will be reliably hidden from strangers. All photos, videos and documents that you add to the application will end up in a secret safe, which only you will have access to with a password, pattern or fingerprint. The application has a well-thought-out design and support for a dark theme – perhaps not the most necessary thing for such a program, but it's still nice.
Of course, when such an application is on the smartphone's desktop, it can raise questions from outsiders. Disguise as a calculator will help you avoid getting caught using the secret vault. For everyone else, when you open the application, a regular calculator will open, and you will already know the combination for accessing the storage.
The side menu of the application provides access to a secret browser (where, of course, the history of visits and passwords is not saved), as well as an encrypted notebook. There you can save, for example, confidential information, phone numbers that you would not want to 'shine' in the address book, and much more.
LOCKED is suitable for anyone who wants to organize a personal file storage on a smartphone that no one can access. Agree, not all the files that are on your smartphone, you would like to share with others. And it's not even about intimate photos or banned videos. A person should always have personal space. And even if you do not give your smartphone to anyone, extra security will not hurt – in case the phone is lost.
The main thing is that you can use the application for free. There are, of course, premium features like disabling ads, prohibiting screenshots and shaking to go to the home screen, but for many, the standard functionality will be enough. Although our favorite is the 'intruder selfie', where the phone takes a photo of the intruder when the password is entered incorrectly, and the spoofing storage is to simulate content using a bogus password.
