Widgets are a useful thing, they add the functionality of standard system and installed third-party applications to the desktop. Widgets are located next to application icons and are sorted by the same methods as icons.
To install a widget on your homescreen: a long press on the screen will open 3 available options:
You will be presented with a list of available widgets. Usually these are widgets of standard applications, for example, quick access to settings (cleaning, blocking, wi-fi, clock), alarm clock, calculator, notes, weather, music, calendar, Chrome, and others, depending on which applications are installed in the phone.
Each widget has its own size. For example 4 × 3 – the widget will take 4 rows and 3 columns, i.e. almost full screen. Another size 1 × 1 – the widget will take the place of one icon.
Be sure to take into account the size of the widgets when placing on the desktop, otherwise it will give an error “not enough space”.
With the help of widgets, you can greatly change the design of the workspace in your smartphone and greatly facilitate device management.
