With the update of the proprietary shell MIUI on smartphones Xiaomi in Android, the gesture control system has been completely redesigned. Gestures are needed to launch the camera and voice assistant, to take a screenshot, turn on the flashlight, close the application and other moments.
Let's take a look at the basic functions of buttons and gestures on your phone. Let's go to Settings> Advanced settings> Buttons and gestures.
Button and gesture functions
With gestures, you can perform 8 actions on your smartphone. Let's consider each.
- Camera launch: a choice of 7 combinations of gestures and buttons on the phone body.
- Screenshot.
- Launching the Google Assistant.
- Screen off.
- Turn on the flashlight.
- Closing the application.
- Split screen.
- Calling up the menu.
Be careful when configuring gestures so that keyboard shortcuts do not overlap, otherwise you will not be able to use all functions.
The following control + gesture keyboard shortcuts are available to customize these 8 actions:
- Double click “Power”.
- Long press “Home”.
- Long press “Menu”.
- Long press “Back”.
- “Food” + “Home”.
- “Power” + “Menu”.
- “Power” + “Back”.
- Three fingers downward gesture.
