And that's how it turns out – we buy expensive smartphones for a lot of money and at the same time get performance similar to phones for $ 100. In truth, I didn't expect smartphones so cheap to become so attractive in terms of performance so quickly. However, it happened, and now is the time to tell in more detail about what the manufacturers will please us with this time. I will say right away that we are talking about the Realmi company. Many may not know, but this is a subsidiary of the BBK Corporation. Speaking of budget devices, not so long ago we compiled a list of the best low-cost devices in 2019.
This is the most powerful smartphone for $ 100
Realmi devices are popular today in Russia and especially in India. On store shelves, along with phones Huawei and Xiaomi, you can find Realmi phones. And against the background of competitors, they look very good. If many people think that Xiaomi is the only option in the segment of budget devices, this is not so. Because Realmi in this matter, in fact, is not worse Xiaomi, and maybe even better.
The company today introduced a new device, which I will now tell you about in more detail. We are talking about Realmi C3. The company first released a teaser for this device a few weeks ago, but today it officially presented it. And, unlike the Realme C2, the third version of the phone is equipped with a Helio P70 processor that runs on a 12nm process technology. This chipset is equipped with two Cortex A75 cores and 4 energy efficient Cortex A55 cores.
This puts the device on a par with the more expensive Realme 5. And in theory, the performance in the single-core test should be better than in Realme 5, due to the more efficient A75. Meanwhile, Realme uses the Snapdragon 665, which is less powerful. The C3 also received the Mali G52 MC2 video chip, which is a good option when it comes to gaming. And, in my opinion, this is exactly the device that all children and teenagers will buy in order to play modern shooters in the Battle Royale format.

Such thoughts are suggested by the fact that the phone received a 5000 mAh battery, which should be enough for several hours of active pastime, and by that I mean, of course, games. Other features worth noting are splash protection, a 12-megapixel camera, complemented by a 2-megapixel module, and a 5-megapixel selfie camera. An IPS screen in a 6.5-inch HD + device should be enough for easy control in games like Fortnite or PUBG. Other nice features I would mention support for two SIM cards, microSD cards, as well as Android 10 out of the box.

Now about the prices. Realme The C3 will retail for $ 98 for a version with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. The version with 4 gigabytes of RAM and 64 gigabytes of internal memory will cost $ 112. Sales should start as early as February 14 in India, and it is possible that in the near future the phone will be on sale in Russia.
The closest competitor of Realme 3 could be Redmi 8: it also has a 5000 mAh battery, but offers a much less powerful Snapdragon 439 processor, which, of course, will not be enough if we are talking about modern games. Thus, we can conclude that in the budget segment today Realme, it probably offers more profitable and interesting solutions in contrast to Xiaomi and other manufacturers.
